At the same time, because of the effect of the variable rod, when the plunger is pressed down, the cross-sectional area of the annular orifice gradually becomes smaller, which can make the elevator car move closer to uniform deceleration. Therefore, the hydraulic buffer has the advantage of smooth buffering. Under the same operating conditions, the stroke required by the hydraulic buffer can be reduced by half compared with the spring buffer. Therefore, the hydraulic buffer is suitable for elevators of various speeds.
