In the course of long-term operation, the lubricating oil on the wire rope will gradually decrease. Therefore, it is necessary for the wire rope to be regularly lubricated, which can extend the service life of the wire rope, and reduce wear and prevent rust by relubricating. Compared with a fully lubricated wire rope, the service life of a dry wire rope can be reduced by up to 80%! The relubrication of the wire rope plays a very important role. We usually choose T86 lubricating oil, which is a very thin liquid that can easily enter the inside of the wire rope. It only needs a brush or a portable 1 liter barrel to spray it. The location of use should be where the wire rope touches the traction sheave or guide wheel, so that the wire rope lubricant can flow into the wire rope more easily.
