Before installing the traction machine, the strength of the installation frame and foundation must be checked to ensure that it can withstand the load and force of the traction machine within the working range. The traction ratio is divided into 2:1 and 1:1. 2:1 is suitable for elevator load 1350KG～1600KG, rated speed 1.0～2.5m/s; 1:1 is suitable for elevator load 800KG, rated speed 1.0～2.5m/s, It is recommended that the lift height of the elevator is ≤120 meters. Basic requirements for brake function:

① When the elevator power supply loses power or the control circuit power supply loses power, the brake can immediately brake.

②When the car is loaded with 125% of the rated load and runs at the rated speed, the brake should be able to stop the traction machine.

③When the elevator is running normally, the brake should be kept released under the condition of continuous energization; after the release circuit of the brake is disconnected, the elevator should be effectively braked without additional delay.

④ To cut off the brake current, use at least two independent electrical devices to achieve. When the elevator is stopped, if the main contact of one of the contactors is not open, the elevator should be prevented from running again when the running direction changes at the latest.

⑤Elevator traction machine equipped with manual turning wheel, should be able to release the brake by hand and require a continuous force to keep it in the released state.
