The shopping malls use slightly larger elevator rope specifications of 12mm, 13mm, and load elevator steel rope specifications of 12mm, 13mm, and 16mm in diameter.

In ordering steel wire rope,you are requested to give us complete information as specified below:

1. Purpose:For which rope will be used;

2. Size:Diameter of the rope in milimeter or inches;

3. Construction:Number of strands,number of wires per strand and type of stand construction;

4. Type of Core:Fiber core(FC),independent wire rope core(IWRC)or independent wire strand core(IWSC);

5. Lay:Right regular lay,left regular lay,Right lang lay,left lang lay,

6. Material:Bright(ungalvanized),galvanized or staninless steel;

7. Grade of Wire:Tensile strength of wires;

8. Lubrication:Whether lubrication is desired or not and required lubricant;

9. Length: length of wire rope;

10. Packing:In coils wrapped with oil paper and hessian cloth or on wooden reels;

11. Quantity:By number of coils or reels by length or weight;

12. Remarks:Shipping marks and any other special requirements.

In the course of long-term operation, the lubricating oil on the wire rope will gradually decrease. Therefore, it is necessary for the wire rope to be regularly lubricated, which can extend the service life of the wire rope, and reduce wear and prevent rust by relubricating. Compared with a fully lubricated wire rope, the service life of a dry wire rope can be reduced by up to 80%! The relubrication of the wire rope plays a very important role. We usually choose T86 lubricating oil, which is a very thin liquid that can easily enter the inside of the wire rope. It only needs a brush or a portable 1 liter barrel to spray it. The location of use should be where the wire rope touches the traction sheave or guide wheel, so that the wire rope lubricant can flow into the wire rope more easily.
