The elevator guide rail is a safe track for the elevator to travel up and down in the hoistway, ensuring that the car and the counterweight move up and down along it. Counterweight hollow guide rails are cold-formed rolling guide rails with thicknesses of 2.75mm and 3.0mm. They are cold-formed from coiled plates through multi-pass molds. They are mainly used to provide guidance for the counterweight during elevator operation. Hollow guide rails can be divided into straight sides and flanged sides according to the shape of the guide rail end surface, namely TK5 and TK5A.
